The Clear Water Chamber Players was founded by musicians passionate about chamber music, and it remains run by those same musicians today. We feel that rather than answering to outside management, CWCP is governed entirely by its own board — the people who understand the art form best are the ones shaping the organization's direction.

All artistic and operational decisions rest solely with the CWCP board. The board sets programming, oversees how the organization functions day to day, and ensures every decision reflects the ensemble's mission and values.

Administration, revenue, and executive leadership are led by the President, who manages these areas on the board's behalf. Even so, every action and policy under the President's leadership is ultimately reviewed and approved by the full board, ensuring accountability stays shared rather than concentrated in any one role.

This structure keeps CWCP true to its roots: an organization created by musicians, for musicians, with collective governance guiding every decision.
